Ch. Multi BIS BISS Golem Moses George E is considered by many dog people to be one of the finest Mastiff show dogs ever. Starting with his win of the JR. Puppy Futurity at the 1998 MCOA National Specialty, his show career was exceptional. He finished at 9 months and began his specials career at 17 months with a Group 2 placement. George was the # 1 Mastiff in both Breed and Group points for 2 consecutive years.
Some of his numerous accomplishments were: the MCOA Collar Awards for Breed and Group points in 2000, and 2001, 10 All Breed Best in Shows, and 55 Group wins with multiple group placements. He won the MCOA National Specialty and the Breed at Westminster in 2001, after winning an Award of Merit in 2000. George was the first Mastiff to win the Connecticut River Working Group Show, and was appreciated by owners and handlers of all breeds. His show career was cut short in his prime, due to an injury to his cruciate ligament while playing with his litter mate. He has produced outstanding litters as a stud dog.
Ch. Golem Moses Gracie E was the runt of the litter, but bonded with Roberta, so we kept her. Gracie grew to be a wonderful Mastiff. She finished at 15 months by winning, WB, BOW, and BOS over her mother, Hannah. Gracie was never comfortable in the show ring, but whelped a wonderful litter that produce Ch. Golem Ralph E and Ch Golem Alice E. Gracie remained at home with us in her retirement from shows, as a companion to her litter mate, George. She was quite happy that she no longer had to perform in the show ring. She lived to over eleven years and had a wonderful life, protecting our home.
